Report: One in Ten Still Not Covered

According to data released Tuesday from two national surveys by the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly one in ten Connecticut residents are uninsured and more than one in ten Connecticut children live in poverty. Lawmakers Asked On SICKO Date

To “make sure every legislator understands the urgency of healthcare reform,” healthcare advocates have invited legislators on a stomach-turning date—to see Michael Moore’s “Sicko”. Get your popcorn and make your move Sunday at Cine 4 Cinema, 371 Middletown Ave. in New Haven. Movie from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Q&A to follow. (According to Connecticut Working Families, so far only 18 of the state’s 187 legislators have seen the movie).
