As a bill making changes to Gov. M. Jodi Rell’s new Charter Oak Health plan was debated, it almost sounded like the Republicans were advocating for universal health care and the Democrats opposed it because it lacked the proper fiscal analysis. Full story here.

New information indicates that what the feds give with one hand, they may be taking back in hidden new medical charges to struggling vets.

Delay In HUSKY Changes Urged

Despite Gov. M. Jodi Rell’s threat to veto a bill that would delay the July 1, 2008 changes to the HUSKY insurance plan for more than 300,000 low-income families in the state, a diverse group of organizations is urging her to delay those changes and other changes scheduled for April 1 until 2010.
