William Lewis

William “Buster” N. Lewis of Hamden, CT passed away February 3, 2010. He was born to the late William N. Lewis Sr. and Grace Fisher on November 7, 1925. William was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church prior to his illness. He leaves to cherish his memory; daughters, Yolanda Cain of Florence, MI, Khalilah Fisher of Hamden, CT, and special daughter, Gaynell (Willie) Martin of Hamden, CT,; step son, Darryl Simmons of New Haven, CT; sister, Virginia Gatling of Waterbury, CT; 7 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren as well as host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will take place Monday February 8 10:30 AM at Pitts Chapel, 64 Brewster Street, New Haven, CT . Friends and family may call at the church Monday 9:30-10:30AM. Interment will take place at the CT State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. Services by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services 1287 Chapel Street New Haven, CT 06511.
