Even with thermal imaging and trained dogs, Connecticut State Police couldn’t find the body for hours.
A Hamden motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a collision with another car just north of Exit 6 near the railroad tracks. The biker, 31-year-old Terrence Horton, went off the highway and fell to the tracks below.

At 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, Horton side-swiped a 1995 Ford Taurus and then careened across the road and struck a jersey barrier near the left shoulder. Horton was ejected off the bike and landed on the tracks below. His bike ended up in the center left lane of five.
Contacted by phone on Monday, State Police Lieutenant J. Paul Vance said that state cops had called in thermal imaging and police dogs to look for the body. They were unsuccessful. The body was found the later Saturday.
Lt. Vance said the accident was still being investigated and that police had not yet determined fault.
