The latest episode of Northern Remedy featured Barbara Shiller, President of the Board of CT Folk, talking about the Connecticut Folk Festival and Green Expo, which comes to Edgerton Park at Whitney Avenue and Cliff Street this Saturday, Sept. 12. The conversation ranged from the past and present of the festival to the question of what exactly folk music is.
The lineup of the festival this year features Della Mae and John Gorka, and includes local banjo legend Roger Sprung as well as numerous regional acts, such as Hayley Reardon, Piedmont Blues, and Echo Green.
