Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has tapped three New Haven experts to help him figure out how to tackle youth and urban violence.
The governor named police Victim Services Officer Jillian Knox (pictured), Clifford Beers Clinic chief Alice Forrester, and The Workplace CEO Joe Carbone to a new Commission on Youth and Urban Violence charged with “identify[ing] risk factors that result in the incidence of violence in high-crime communities and recommend meaningful policies and evidence-based programs designed to reduce violence.”
