Parents, teachers and volunteers will be knocking on doors Saturday in the last of three school-related canvassing efforts.
This time, they’re hitting Fair Haven and the Hill to spread the word about Boost!, the city’s program to connect kids to social services, and New Haven Promise, the city’s college scholarship program.
The canvass takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, based out of Hill Regional Career High School at 140 Legion Ave. Volunteers, especially those who speak Spanish, are still needed: Click here to sign up.
