Turkey Day Already?

I nominate that Turkey for mayor...

Saw a turkey hen with babies on my ride this morning! (and one on the West Haven boardwalk when I was riding last week)

Spotted a turkey Monday at Whitney and Humphrey. (Someone should start a band called Bus Stop Turkey.)

I'm curious what "turkey sittings" are that's so common in New Haven. Can we ride them?

I think I saw this bad boy in front of Metro on Water Street. He's HUGE!

As for "turkey sittings," you can't just leave them to their own devices. Just look at the trouble they cause. They need supervision.

Would be helpful if, instead of writing "was spotted Wednesday between Elm and Grove streets," you'd say "was spotted Wednesday on College Street between Elm and Grove." I notice repeatedly that the NHI can be quite neglectful in describing the location of things. Not everybody in the city knows the location of every street, park, building -- whatever -- in the city. Not everybody, for example, in this case, is going to know what or where the Scroll and Key Society is, or recognize it in the photo.

I saw him today at lunchtime on George near York. He caused a minor traffic jam!
