Kevin Douglas Hoff, 55, of Eastern St, New Haven, CT entered eternal rest on April 25, 2014.
Kevin also affectionately known by his family as “Hank” was born on April 16, 1959. He was born and raised in Hamden. He is a graduate of Hamden High School, and also attended South Central Community College. He was one of three children born to Jane (Hughes) and the late Walter Hoff of New Haven. For many years Kevin was employed as a Mill Operator at United Aluminum Corp in North Haven. He was a former member of Oriental Lodge #6 PHA and St. Matthew’s UFB church. Kevin loved listening to jazz music, watching movies and sports competitions, laughing, being with his family and having fun with friends. Kevin and his infectious smile will forever be remembered by his loving mother, Jane Hughes-Hoff; devoted brother, Walter (Jeanette Ray) of Warrington, PA; his loving sister, Patricia of NJ; his beloved children, Janelle and Kevin “KC” Hoff of Hamden; his caring long-time companion, Cyndi Volz; his former spouse, Renee Gay-Hoff of Hamden; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10am at Bethel AME Church, 255 Goffe St., New Haven, CT 06511. Calling Hour will be Saturday at the church from 9 – 10am.
