The Public Safety Committee of the New Haven Board of Alders will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 15 at 6 p.m. in the Alder Chamber of City Hall, 165 Church Street, re:
(1) From the Chief Administrative Officer submitting a Resolution of the New Haven Board of Alders authorizing acceptance of FFY 2017 Homeland Security Grant Program and designating the Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (LCRVCG) as the administrator of these regional funds. (Submitted 9/16/19).
(2) From the Chief Administrative Officer submitting a Resolution of the New Haven Board of Alders authorizing acceptance of FFY 2018 Homeland Security Grant Program and designating the Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (LCRVCG) as the administrator of these regional funds. (Submitted 9/16/19).
The following items will be taken up concurrently:
(3) From Alders Winter and Roth, submitting an Order of the New Haven Board of Alders calling for a public hearing to further discuss citywide traffic safety concerns. (Submitted 9/16/19).
(4) From Alderpersons Furlow, Roth and Winter submitting an order of the New Haven Board of Alders calling for a public hearing on traffic safety in the city. (Submitted 10/1/18; heard with no action 3/19/2019.)

The Human Services Committee of the New Haven Board of Alders will meet on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 6 PM in the Board of Alders Chamber of the 2nd Floor of New Haven City Hall, located at 165 Church Street, New Haven to hear and act upon the following items:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPTCONTINUATION OF FUNDING GRANT AWARD FOR THE PER CAPITA GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $139,136.87 FROM THE CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 2019 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2020 TO ASSIST WITH THE OPERATION OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPTGRANT AWARD TO PROVIDE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (SAMHSA) FROM OCTOBER 1, 2019 TO DECEMBER 31, 2022.

ON BEHALF OF TOBACCO 21” AN ORDER RAISING THE MINIMUM LEGAL SALES AGE FOR TOBACCO PRODUCTS TO 21.
