The purpose of the Needs Assessment Hearing is to receive public comment on the housing and community development needs of the City, including priority non-housing needs, and past and current program performance.
A Draft Needs Assessment document with goals and priorities for the next 5 years is available in the Office of the City Clerk, in the main branch of the Public Library, and on the City’s website at www.cityofnewhaven.com under News.
* Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. — Public Hearing for Software (Public-Service Activities, including Emergency Shelter Grant and Housing Opportunites for Persons with AIDS). This meeting is mandatory for Software recipient agencies.

*Thursday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. — Public Hearing for Hardware (Bricks-and-Mortar Activities). This meeting is mandatory for community agencies receiving Hardware funding.
