Over the last 28 years, Brazi’s Italian Restaurant, just down the walkway from Long Wharf Theatre, has played the role of host to such luminaries as Arthur Miller, Robert Redford, and Al Pacino, as well as Brian Dennehy and Amy Irving.

New Haven is a great place to start this new economy, because we are already connected through nonprofits, community organizations and mission-driven businesses.
Local Black-owned businesses can now apply for up to $10,000 in aid through the Economic Justice Fund run by the Connecticut Community Outreach Revitalization Program (ConnCORP).

Here’s the plan: The pandemic lifts. Air traffic comes roaring back. New Haven’s airport reaps the benefits with a longer runway.
Neighbors heard the plan and asked: Will that wreck the environment? Did the pandemic wreck the industry? And what about the noise at Wendy Guglietti’s house?
Move the airport terminal across the border into East Haven. Extend the main runway by 1,035 feet to allow for longer-distance flights.
Both of those proposals are included in Tweed-New Haven Airport’s new master plan, which is slated to be submitted to federal regulators later this month.
Gov. Ned Lamont Thursday announced that he’s easing Covid-19 restrictions in the state starting mid-March, as vaccines offer hope amid concerns from federal health officials that a rush to lessen precautions will lead to a new surge of cases.
