The cops showed up at Farnam Courts — to bring in the Easter holiday.
They hung with the kids at the Grand Avenue housing development Thursday afternoon as the kids colored eggs, competed for prizes (a couple of bikes), and saw the fire truck while learning some fire education. Then they had a candy hunt.
Top east side cop Capt. Holly Wasilewski and top Fair Haven cop Lt. Darcy Siclari organized the event with community volunteer Carmella Ricciardelli and the help of Fire Chief Allyn Wright.
