Funeral services for Beaver Hills Alder Tom Ficklin are scheduled to take place at Battell Chapel Thursday beginning at 11 a.m.

Ficklin, a leading New Haven figure in media and politics and a community omnipresence for decades, died suddenly last Wednesday night at the age of 75.
