The juice was back by 1:20 p.m. in almost all of the 3,300 New Haven homes that lost power overnight, according to United Illuminating.
UI spokesman Al Carbone said only 11 New Haven homes remained without power at that time.
Of the 3,300 homes losing power within city limits, more than two-thirds were concentrated on the west side of town, around Alden Avenue, Blake Street, Ruby Street, Valley Street, and Whalley Avenue, according to Carbone.
Throughout the region’s 17 towns, some 10,000 homes lost power in the storm. beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
