WARNING
November 6, 2012 State Election
The Electors of the City of New Haven are hereby warned to meet at their respective
polling places in said City on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, for the following purposes:
I.
To cast their votes for Presidential and Vice-Presidential electors, United States
Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative,
Registrar of Voters*, (insert any offices involved in special elections or elected
annually by special act).
II. To vote approval or disapproval of the following referendum is in accordance with
Section 9 – 369(a) of the CGS and section 2 – 348 of the New Haven Code of Ordinances:
“Shall Congress reduce military spending; transfer fund to convert to civilian production;
create jobs to rebuild our infrastructure; meet pressing human needs?”
Notice is hereby given that the location of the polling places is as follows:
**Absentee Ballots will be counted at the following central location:
Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, Ground Floor, 200 Orange St,New Haven, Ct
Voting machines will be used. The polls will be opened at six o’clock in the morning (6:00 a.m.) and will
remain open until eight o’clock in the evening (8:00 p.m.).
