Students Celebrated, King Robinson Style

A little rain didn’t stop the staff at King/Robinson Interdistrict Magnet: An IB Stem School from celebrating their students! On Friday June 5, the staff lined the school property for a reverse parade.

Students and families were invited to drive through the school property to wave to staff. A walking path was set up for families who did not drive to the school.

The staff was ecstatic to have the opportunity to congratulate their students on their hard work during distance learning, wish them a happy summer, and of course, tell them how much they miss them!

Donning masks, the staff decorated their cars, played music and made signs along the parade route.

Principal Dr. Joseph Johnson commented on the event, saying how happy he was with the turnout and energy of the parade. The event allowed the school community to come together and end what was a unique second half of the school year on a positive note.

The parade was organized by the school’s Sunshine Club, led by Rachel Battino and Michelle Romanelli.
