Paula L. Durham, 55, of New Haven, departed this life June 1, 2010. She was the wife of Bobby Durham.
Born in Wilmington, NC, January 15, 1955, she was the daughter of Rachel Palmer and the late Billy Oliver Bellamy.
Mrs. Durham was employed for several years at the Hill Health Center as a Family Support Worker. She was a member of St. Matthew’s UFWB Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Aaliyah Thomas and Raychelle Durham; a son, Bobby Durham, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn Wallace, Emma Pitts, Priscilla Cole (Richard), Rachel Hargett and Tammy Palmer; grandchildren, Naziar Samuels and Bobby Durham III; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Durham’s life and legacy will be held Monday, June 7, 2010, at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew’s UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
