RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN STRONGLY URGING CITY OFFICIALS AND STAFF TO DISCONTINUE NEGOTIATING, SOLICITING, DELIBERATING, INVESTIGATING, RESEARCHING, AND IMPLEMENTING ANY AGREEMENT TO SECURITIZE REVENUES FROM MUNICIPAL PARKING METERS, INCLUDING THE SO-CALLED PARKING METER MONETIZATION PLAN, AND TO LOOK FOR OTHER ALTERNATIVES TO ADDRESS THE CITY’S LONG-TERM BUDGET PROBLEMS.
