The Youth Services Committee of the New Haven Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31 in the Aldermanic Chamber of City Hall, 165 Church St., re:

From Alderwoman Clark, State Rep. Roland Lemar, and the New18 Campaign, a resolution authorizing the placement of a non-binding advisory referendum on the November 8, 2011 New Haven municipal ballot as follows:

SHOULD THE CONNECTICUT GENERAL ASSEMBLY LOWER THE VOTING AGE FROM 18 YEARS OLD TO 16 YEARS OLD?

Resolution of the New Haven Board of Alderman authorizing the Mayor to apply for and accept a grant in the amount of $35,000 from the Connecticut State Library for young adult programming for the period of August 1, 2011 to July 31, 2012.
