REQUIRING WAIVERS OF PENSIONS BY RETIREES ACCEPTING COMPENSATION FROM
THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN FOR PERFORMING THE DUTIES OF ANY FULL TIME OR PART
TIME NON-ELECTED MUNICIPAL POSITION OR AS A CONSULTANT PERFORMING A
FUNCTION SUBSTANTIALLY SIMILAR TO ANY FULL TIME OR PART TIME NON-ELECTED
MUNICIPAL POSITION.

ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN MAINTAINING THE AMOUNT OF TAXES DUE AT
THE 2009 LEVEL FOR THOSE RESIDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE ELDERLY TAX
FREEZE PROGRAM AND WHOSE NET TAX ES DUE FOR 2010 WERE MORE THAN THEIR
2009 FREEZE AMOUNT.
7.
ORDER CALLING FOR AN UPDATE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF LABOR RELATIONS
AND HUMAN RESOURCES ON THE PLANS TO DEAL WITH THE STAFFING SHORTAGE
RESULTING FROM THE RECENT AND UPCOMING LAYOFFS.

ORDER REQUESTING QUARTERLY REPORTS AND PUBLIC HEARING(S) ON
BENCHMARKS FOR INCREASED SAVINGS AND INCREASED REVENUES AS OUTLINED IN
THE STATEMENT AT THE MAY 23, 2011 SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING.

ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERMEN AUTHORIZING THE
REIMBURSEMENT OF $75.00 (SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS) TO MS. ROBERTA OKWUOSA
FOR HER FEES INCURRED AS A RESULT OF HER PROACTIVE EFFORT TO TAKE CARE
OF THE OVERGROWN GRASS ON THE CITY LOT ON VALLEY PLACE SOUTH AND URGING
THE APPROVAL OF A TAXPAYERS BILL OF RIGHTS TO PROVIDE A PROCESS TO HANDLE
SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE FUTURE.

ORDER FROM ALDERMAN GOLDSON STRONGLY URGING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION
TO INCREASE SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT BY AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO OR GREATER
THAN THE SAVINGS ACHIEVED BY THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND BOARD OF
EDUCATION FOR THE PRINT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WITH XEROX, INC.
11.
RESOLUTION OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERMEN URGING THE CONNECTICUT
GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO ENACT ENABLING LEGISLATION TO ALLOW NEW HAVEN TO
IMPLEMENT A FAIR ONE PERCENT LOCAL OPTION EARNINGS TAX ON INCOME EARNED
BY THE MANY NON-RESIDENTS WORKING IN THIS CITY.
12.
A RESOLUTION URGING THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO ENACT ENABLING LEGISLATION
TO ALLOW MUNICIPALITIES TO PLACE A SURCHARGE ON PARKING FACILITIES.
13.
RESOLUTION OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERMEN CALLING ON THE LOCAL
DELEGATION TO THE STATE LEGISLATURE TO TAKE ALL APPROPRIATE AND
NECESSARY STEPS TO ENSURE THAT PROPERTY TAX REFORM IS CONSIDERED IN
THE UPCOMING LEGISLATIVE SESSION.
14.
ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERMEN ADOPTING AN AFFIDAVIT OF
RESIDENCY FORM FOR TAX PAYING PURPOSES FOR PERSONS WITH MULTIPLE HOMES
OR DOMICILES.
