The Community Development Committee of the Board of Alders will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28 in the Alder Chamber of City Hall, 165 Church St., re:
* From the Executive Director Livable City Initiative submitting an order approving the following actions: acquisition of 613 Ferry Street from We Buy Houses LLC for $50,000 for the purpose of site control to expand the footprint for additional gardening or housing opportunities; acquisition of 494‑536 Quinnipiac Avenue from Continuum of Care, Inc. for $400,000 to facilitate the construction of 12‑14 unites of housing by selling this site to the selected developer at cost; acquisition on behalf of the New Haven Board of Education of 3 Runo Terrace from Carla Korrick for $50,000 as part of a public safety improvement redesign; acquisition on behalf of the New Haven Board of Education of 5 Runo Terrace from Barbara and James Ginger for $100,000 as part of a public safety improvement redesign; and granting of a five foot easement over the northerly portion of 551‑553 Winchester to create an egress from the property at 555 Winchester Avenue.
* From Attorney James Segaloff submitting an application/petition to terminate and release Land Disposition Agreement dated July 22, 1970 concerning reuse parcel S‑4 in the Dwight Renewal and Redevelopment Project Area 76 Sherman Avenue.
