The Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 6:00 P.M, in the Aldermanic Chambers, 165 Church St., New Haven, to act upon the following items;

RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AS A

REHABILITATION AREA AND ESTABLISHING CRITERIA FOR THE

ELIGIBILITY OF REAL PROPERTY FOR ASSESSMENT DEFERRAL

AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES

AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE #3, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, FISCAL YEAR 2009 – 2010, THAT TRANSFERS FUNDS FROM EAST ROCK PARK AND BLAKE FIELD DEMOLITION PROJECTS TO PARKS INFRASTRUCTURE

ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERMEN APPROVINGTHREE YEAR COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AND LOCAL 530, AFSCME, COUNCIL 15, AFL-CIO.

ORDER APPROVING TRANSFER #0681 IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,000 TO THE BUDGET FOR FY 2009 – 2010, OTHER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES, TO FUND THE CONTRACT FOR POLICE NEGOTIATIONS WITH BERCHEM, MOSES & DEVLIN PC.

ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 17 – 201 OF THE NEW HAVEN CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADD VARIOUS FEES TO BE CHARGED BY THE FIRE MARSHAL’S OFICE

6.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE #3, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, FISCAL YEAR 2009 – 2010, FORNEW APPROPRIATION OF $3.5 MILLION FOR THE YALE NEW HAVEN HOSPITAL SIGNALIZATION PROJECT.

ORDER TO READ AND FILE THE REQUIRED BUDGETARY AND FINANCIAL REPORTS FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2009 IN COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION #62 OF THE CHARTER

AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE #3, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, FISCAL YEAR 2009 – 2010, FORDESCRIPTION CHANGE FROM THE TRAFFIC AND PARKING DEPARTMENT ON THEIR DOWNTOWN CONTROLLER SYSTEM PROJECT.
