The Public Safety Committee of the New Haven Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the Aldermanic Chamber of City Hall, 165 Church St.
The following matters are posted for committee action only:
- From the Community Services Administrator, a resolution authorizing the application for a emergency response team training grant from the Connecticut Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security in the amount of $6,000.
- From Alderman Paolillo submitting an order calling for a public hearing to discuss the serious shortage of paramedics in the New Haven Fire Department.
- From Alderpersons Sandman, Lemar, Rhodeen, Sturgis-Pascale submitting an order calling for a hearing on issues related to the demolition of the Kresge building and other structures damaged by the recent fire.
