The New Haven Board of Aldermen’s Joint Committee on Community Development and Human Services will hold the following public hearings, workshops, and meetings regarding:
ORDER APPROVING THE CONSOLIDATED HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR FY 2009 – 2010 INCLUDING PROPOSED ACTIVITIES TO BE FUNDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG), HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP, HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (HOPWA), AND EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT (ESG) COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.

Thursday, February 5 at 6 p.m. – Public Hearing for Software (Public-Service Activities)
Thursday, February 12 at 6 p.m. – Public Hearing for Hardware (Bricks-and-Mortar Activities)
Tuesday, February 24 at 5:30 p.m. – Public Hearing for city agencies (City Activities).
Thursday, February 26 at 5:30 p.m. – Workshop, followed by Committee Deliberations (no public testimony).
Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. – Additional Deliberations, if needed (no public testimony).
Door opens for speaker signup 15 minutes prior to all public hearings – no
exceptions.
