The Youth Services Committee of the New Haven Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 in Meeting Room 3 of City Hall, 165 Church St., re:
LM-08 – 0365 RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AND URGING THE ADOPTION OF THE COMMUNITY IN ACTION NEIGHBORHOOD DEFENSE AND OPPORTUNITY (CAN DO) BILL AND THE YOUTH PRISON REDUCTION THROUGH OPPORTUNITIES, MENTORING, INTERVENTION, SUPPORT, AND EDUCATION (PROMISE) ACT.
The committee will also hold a workshop to:
- Review the city’s ongoing project to gather data about and map youth programs and services in New Haven.
- Discuss new and continuing business.
