* From The Director Of Youth Services Submitting A Resolution Of The New Haven Board Of Aldermen To Accept The State Of Connecticut Judicial Branch‑Court Support Services Division Youth Violence Prevention Grant Amendment In The Amount Of $641,773.00 To Help Reduce Youth Related Violence As Recommended By The Ad Hoc Youth Violence Policy Committee Of Which $341,000.00 Will Be Used To Support Non‑Pro‑Fit Agencies Programming Through The Youth Violence Prevention Grant Initiative, $100,000.00 Will Be Used For The Escape Teen Center, $100,773.00 Will Be Used For Youth Stat Support Services And $100,000.00 Of The Funding Will Be Used For Youth Employment.
* From the Director of Youth Services submitting a Resolution of the New Haven Board of Alders authorizing the application to a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to fund mentorship, career advising, and summer and part‑time employment for low‑income, court‑involved, and/or at‑risk youth who are eligible to complete high school within two years but who are in danger of dropping out.
