THE JOINT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ‑ LEGISLATION COMMITTEE WILL MEET ON WEDESDAY, JUNE 22, 2016 AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE BOARD OF ALDERS CHAMBER OF CITY HALL, 165 CHURCH STREET, FOR PUBLIC HEARING OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
(1) ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN APPROVING (I) THE TRANSFER OF A.M.A./CONNECTICUT FUNDING CORP.’S (“A.M.A.”) INTEREST IN AN AMENDED AND RESTATED LAND DISPOSITION AGREEMENT (the “AMENDED LDA”) AND IN AN AMENDED AND RESTATED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT (the “AMENDED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT”) TO RMS DOWNTOWN SOUTH‑HILL NORTH DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, LLC (“RMS”), (ii) A SECOND AMENDED AND RESTATED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND LAND DISPOSITION AGREEMENT BY AND AMONG THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN, THE NEW HAVEN REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (the “AGENCY”) AND RMS (the “DLDA”) IMPLEMENTING THE FIRST PHASE OF THE HILL‑TO‑DOWNTOWN COMMUNITY PLAN AND THE COMPLETION OF THE DOWNTOWN SOUTH‑HILL NORTH PROJECT TOGETHER WILL ALL ANCILLARY DOCUMENTS TO BE, MADE THEREUNDER, INCLUDING (iii) THE SALE OF THE WELCH ANNEX SCHOOL AND THE PRINCE SCHOOL ANNEX TO RMS.
(2) ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AMENDMENT APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE DESIGNATION OF 20.6 ACRES OF LAND (SHOWN ON ATTACHMENT B, D &E) LOCATED IN THE HILL TO DOWNTOWN PLAN AREA FROM GENERAL BUSINESS BA DISTRICT TO BD‑3 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT/MIXED USE DISTRICT
(3) ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT APPROVING ADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS TO THE BD‑3 ZONE TEXT
