* From Alder Furlow, submitting an order of the Board Of Alders calling for a public hearing to receive an update on the status of the city’s 10‑Year Plan To End Chronic Homelessness and to discuss other efforts to address this critical social issue.
* From the Community Services Administrator, submitting a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract for planning and technical support funding from the Cities for Financial Empowerment supporting the New Haven Financial Empowerment Center (created under advisement of the Mayor’s Financial Empowerment Commission) for the period October 2017 through September 2018 in the amount of $20,000 for delivery of financial literacy counseling to low income persons and families.
* From the Director of Health, submitting a Resolution of authorizing the Mayor to apply for and accept a continuation of funding for the Emergency Preparedness Grant for $90,035 from the Yale New Haven Health System Corp on behalf of the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health for the period July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.
