CITY NOTICE
Notice of Decision
In accordance with Sections 36 and 41 of the City Charter, 1993 Revised, notice
Is hereby given of the enactment and approval of the following named ordinances:
1. ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AMENDMENTS TO TITLE VI, VOLUME III, OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO CHANGE FROM BUSINESS A, RH2 AND RM2 TO
BUSINESS BD‑1 THE ZONING OF PARCELS ON CHAPEL, HOWE, CROWN, DWIGHT,
PARK, YORK, GEORGE AND EDGEWOOD.
2. Ordinance Amendment to Text Amendments for Central Business/ Residential (BD‑1) Districts
3. ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN AMENDING THE CODE OF
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN ESTABLISHING EXPLICIT
PROTECTIONS ON THE BASIS OF ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED GENDER IDENTITY AND
EXPRESSION
Said ordinances are on file in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 204, Kennedy Mitchell Hall
of Records, 200 Orange St., where it may be inspected or copies applied for and reference
thereto is hereby made a part of this notice.
The aforementioned, ordinance were enacted by the Board of Aldermen on the following:
1. 10/3/11 by a vote of 26 ayes 0 nos
2. 10/3/11 by a vote of 26 ayes 0 nos
3. 11/10/11 by a vote of 23 ayes 0 noes 1 abstention
Said ordinances will become operative and in effect on November 21, 2011
