Betty Jean McFadden, 70, of New Haven, passed away on May 6, 2019.
She was born in Kingstree, S.C. to the late Cosdale Evans and Naomi McFadden on Dec. 28, 1948.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory, special friend, Chris Garner; son, Joseph McFadden; daughters, Patricia (Jodie Jennings) Evans, Emma Jean Warner, and Sheila (Travis Lewis) Evans; siblings, Stellarine Kendricks, Julius Evans, England Gamble, Mary Evans, Abu Muhammad, Shakira Muhammad, Charles Evans, and Carrie Evans; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St. Friends may call Friday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
