Curtis C. White, 85, of New Haven, passed away of September 8. Curtis was born to the late Eddie Lee White and Hannah Curry White May 11, 1936, in Clarendon, Arkansas.
Curtis retired from ABF trucking where he worked for 26 years. He was an avid New York Giants fan and had a great love for jazz, listening to Hank Crawford and John Coltrane. While attending a birthday party in New York, Curtis met Joyce Davis who he married on May 28, 1978. He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife Joyce White of New Haven: son Kenneth White and stepson Timmy Green both of New Haven; brother Billy White of Maryland; one grandchild, Kenneth White Jr. and one great grandchild Kenneth White III; best friend, Harold Lucas of New York and a host of many relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life with take place Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Friends may call Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
