Cynthia McKoy Gormany, 63, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, August 18. She was born on October 3, 1956 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Vernon and Esther Lee McKoy.
Cynthia was a beautiful person inside and out and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Cynthia is survived by her husband Walter Lee Gormany; son, Lequane (Krystal) Gormany; three beautiful grandchildren; Daevion Gormany, Kania Colon, and Aiden Gormany whom she adored and was known affectionately as “Mema”; three sisters, Esther Ann McKoy, Dorothy Jean McKoy, and Doris McKoy all of New Haven; sister-in law, Bernadette Gormany (Lance) Barbour; brother- in-law, Gerald Gormany; and a host of relatives and friends.
A walk-thru visitation will take place Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at The New Trinity Temple C.O.G.I.C., 285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. Interment will be private.
