George Bryant, 76, of New Haven, passed away on January 12, 2020.
He was born in Dunn, North Carolina to George Otis Bryant and Beatrice Blackman on March 23, 1943. He was retired from Stop & Shop after many years of dedicated service. George enjoyed bowling and playing basketball. He was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and Miami Heat.
George leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 35 years, Jewel Bryant; son, Loren Bryant; daughter, Krystal (Mike) Bryant; brother, James (Lettie) Bryant; sister, Larscence (Simon) Jones; granddaughter, Jada Merritt; brother-in-laws, Patrick (Anne) Frye and Robert Barnes; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 9:30 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home from 8:30 – 9:30 AM. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
