Hattie B. Hayward, 79, of New Haven, CT born on December 15, 1936 in Plantsville, SC to William Barron and Florine (Gillard) Barron, passed away March 9, 2016.
Hattie was gainfully employed by Sargeant’s on Long Wharf as a factory worker. She took pleasure in activities, such as walking, dancing, and going to the beach. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons; John Hayward of Rocky Hill, Danny Hayward and Richard Hayward both of New Haven, daughters; Cynthia Hayward- McClendon (Marvin) of NC and Celestine Janet Hayward- Collins (Clarence) of Hamden, sister Rosetta Milton, brother Herman Barron, 6 grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. A visitation service will be held Wednesday March 16, 2016 at from 3 – 6 PM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services; 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511. Burial will take place at Mt.
