Jolene C. Augustine, 64, lifelong resident of New Haven, passed away March 6, 2019.
She was born on Sept. 22, 1954, to the late Joseph and Becky Goodson. She was employed with the City of New Haven Youth Services.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Lynitta A. Augustine; granddaughter, Emani D Bromell; great-granddaughter, Lyani G. Barnes; best friends, Marcia Majors, Margo Alexander, and Doretha Philips; and a host of in-laws, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by husband, Ronald W. Augustine, Jr.; brother, Alan Goodson, Sr.; and grandmother, Aurelia Allen.
A celebration of her life will take place Monday at 11 a.m. at Varick Memorial AME Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511.
