Santos Oppenheimer, 57, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his home. Santos (Oppen) most well known as “Titolo”, was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on November 1, 1965.
Santos was raised in El Toque, Ponce, Puerto Rico where he graduated from Dr. Pila High School. Santos spent his last 18 years doing what he loved, carpentry construction, cooking, planting flowers and vegetables, crabbing, grilling, helping others, being a good friend, and a family man, but his passion was music “Salsa”, enjoyed playing his congas and maracas, loved talking on the phone with his children, and taking care of his chicken Lollies, and eats Joe and Bella, and was always with his wife Dunia “Bebe”, did everything together.
Santos is survived by his wife, Dunia Rivera; brother Norberto Oppenheimer; sister, Loren Oppenheimer; children Yaniré Oppenheimer, Nydialetry Oppenheimer, Yailetxy Oppenheimer, Santos K. Oppenheimer, Dashlyn Oppenheimer, Jonathan Torres, Brianna Rivera, and Ariana McFadden; his grandchildren that he loved so dearly, Naislyn Uribe, Joandy Alvarez, Mialetxy Alvarez, Yancy Oppenheimer, Leonel Soto, Ashthan Oppenheimer, Jonathan Torres, Jr. and Juntin Torres and a host of other family and friends.
