A Memorial Remembrance of Willie Lee Lilly, who has gone before us in faith, shared in the prayer, sacrifices and good works of the Franciscan Frias of the Atonement including daily remembrance in the Perpetual Masses and Prayers offered by the Friar Priest at Graymoor and throughout the world.
Willie Lee Lilly, 77, of New Haven, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. He was born in New London, NC on June 6, 1944 to the late Alfonso and Catherine Barker Lilly. He retired as a car detailer with Stevens Ford in Milford. He enjoyed music, especially his favorite group, The Temptations.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Lee Peacock, Corey Beal, and Keon Threadgill; brother, Alphonso Lilly; sisters, Barbara Jean Gibson, Brenda Gramblin, and Bernice Henderson; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, George Lilly, Douglas Lilly, Bernard Lilly, and David Lilly; sisters, Margie Goins, Cathy Talford, and Audrey Cheek.

“O Lord, life has not ended, but has merely changes; and when this earthly abode dissolves, an eternal dwelling place awaits them in Heaven.
A celebration of his life was scheduled to take place Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511.
