Beyond “Eureka!”

Hope Seen in Overdose Drug

narcanphoto.jpgBack in 2007, a teenage girl was in the right place at the right time, the parking lot of a New Haven drug treatment facility, when she overdosed on drugs. Staffers saved her with an antidote called Narcan. New data from Yale researchers show that the antidote could have saved more than three-quarters of those who’ve died from accidental drug overdoses.
