Westville’s streets and Edgewood Park were jammed Saturday for a sun-filled 15th annual ArtWalk, jammed with theater, music, crafts, and recycled art.

One highlight was the scene by the pumps at Aquila Motors. No cars were lined up to get gas. Instead, car doors were lined up. Alderman Dow Iron & Metal donated the doors for the Car Door Project.” George Corsillo (pictured) was behind it.

Local artists painted the doors and displayed them. One of the artists, zebra door enthusiast Damian Paglia, tried to impress unpainted mime artist Sharece Sellem.

Artist Jacob Pongratz applies saturated color to his mixed-media door design that incorporated recycled materials.

Across the street, vendors brightened the alleyway outside Keys on Kites Tattoo and Gallery.
