The five-day journey will bring them to the town of Urubamba for a church building project and visit to a local orphanage. Urubamba which means Flat land of Spiders” in Quechua is a small town in Peru, located near the Urubamba River. The town is located near a number of significant ruins of the Inca Empire and frequently houses tourists visiting those sites.

It’s a privilege for us to be able to invest in their lives and expand their horizons. Too many of our kids never get to see very much beyond the boundaries of New Haven. This is a wonderful experience that they won’t soon forget.”
