Harvey Koizim sent in these photos from a swinging Farmer’s Market this past Saturday in Wooster Square, as well as a write-up about a surprise visitor returning to the city where he left a mark.
“The dancers are from Yale Swing & Blues. The young woman pictured and in charge is Mary Christensen.”
“You may recognize my old friend and student, Stefan Pryor checking out the CitySeed designed Food Stamps project. He graduated from Yale Law School about 10 years ago. While he was in New Haven he helped design the Livable Cities Program. He and Dacia Toll also planned and set up the Amistad School. Then he went on to head up the development arm of the World Trade Center rebuilding project (I think the largest residential project in the US). Now he’s Deputy Mayor for Economic Development with his classmate Corey Booker, Mayor of Newark.”
