Madeline Hundley Harris affectionately known as āāMidgetā was born on July 9, 1947 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Arthur T. Hundley and Madeline Barnes Hundley. Madeline was employed at St Raphael Hospital for many years until the time of her illness.
Madeline leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter Lynn Harris of New Haven, one sister Edith Hundley Rawls of New Haven, brother Clarence āāJoeā Hundley of Hamden, a special cousin Paulette Hundley of Virginia, and aunts Ethel Tolson and Edith Gore both of New Haven. Madeline was predeceased by her son Rodney A. Hundley. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Mrs. Harrisā life and legacy will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Martin DePorres Church, 136 Dixwell Ave.(corner of Dixwell and Webster St.), New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 8:00āāā9:00 A.M. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
