| Oct 7, 2019 12:22 pm |In accordance with Article IV section 3 (a) and Article V section 1 (d) of the City Charter, 2013 revised, notice is hereby given of the enactment and approval of the following named ordinances:
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 17, LICENSES AND PERMITS, ARTICLE XIV, RESIDENTIAL RENTAL BUSINESS LICENSE REQUIREMENTS FOR RENTAL PROPERTY OWNERS TO ENSURE THAT THE OWNERS/AGENTS ARE COMPLYING WITH THE HEALTH AND WELFARE CHECKS ALLOWING FOR BETTER IMPLEMENTATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF THE ORDINANCE.
ZONING AMENDMENT OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD ALDERS AMENDING AND RESTATING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 60.1 — EXTERIOR LIGHTING.
ZONING AMENDMENT OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS CREATING A NEW SECTION 60.3 TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AMENDING AND RESTATING SECTIONS 27 AND 44 PERTAINING TO ON-PREMISES SIGNS IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS, INCLUDING MINOR EDITS TO SECTION 44.1 OFF PREMISES SIGNS.
ZONING AMENDMENT OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS CREATING A NEW SUBSECTION TO THE NEW SECTION 60.3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO DYNAMIC DISPLAY SIGNS.
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS GRANTING LEAVE TO WITHDRAW TO THE COMMUNICATION REGARDING A ZONING MAP AND TEXT AMENDMENT (GRID # 17, 20) TO CHANGE THE DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY 19.608± ACRES OF LAND (854,129 SQ. FT.) LOCATED AT 345 EAST SHORE PARKWAY (including M‑B-P 052/950/00400, M‑B-P 052/950/00800, and M‑B-P 052/950/00600) FROM PARK DISTRICT TO IH (HEAVY INDUSTRIAL) ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
Said ordinances are on file in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 204, Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, 200 Orange St., where they may be inspected or copies applied for and reference thereto is hereby made a part of this notice.
The aforementioned ordinances were enacted by the Board of Alders on September 3, 2019 by a vote of 25 yeas and 0 nays. And approved by the Mayor on September 24, 2019.
Said ordinances will become operative and in effect on October 8, 2019.

ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES ESTABLISHING THE NEW HAVEN AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMISSION
Said ordinances are on file in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 204, Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, 200 Orange St., where they may be inspected or copies applied for and reference thereto is hereby made a part of this notice.
The aforementioned ordinances were enacted by the Board of Alders on August 5, 2019 by a vote of 27 yeas, 0 nays and approved by the Mayor.
Said ordinances will become operative and in effect on September 6, 2019.

| Aug 29, 2019 7:08 pm |The City Clerk’s office, located at 200 Orange St., Rm 202, New Haven CT 06510 will be open an extended hour (until 6:00 p.m.) Tuesday, September 3rd through Friday, September 6th in addition to Saturday, September 7th, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for electors to cast an absentee ballot.

| Aug 27, 2019 8:50 pm |The New Haven Board of Assessment Appeals will hold hearings for Motor Vehicles, Saturday, September 7, from 9 – 11:30 am, at the Assessor’s Office in City Hall, 165 Church Street, and Monday evening, September 9, from 5 – 8 pm. Applications are available at the hearings and can be filled out at that time. If there is an issue with a vehicle and the subject of the hearing, please bring the vehicle.
