The New Haven Board of Assessment Appeals is having hearings for motor vehicle appeals Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 9 – 11:30 a.m., and on Monday evening, September 24, from 5 – 7:30 p.m., at the Assessor’s Office, New Haven City Hall, 165 Church St., New Haven, Connecticut. The sessions are open, and no appointment is needed for the appeal. Remember to bring your car information, such as vehicle identification number and registration, and your tax bill. You also need to bring your vehicle, so we can verify information from your hearing.
Mayor Toni Harp has declared a festival proclamation for Friday, September 14, 2018 in support of the 4th Annual New Haven Grand Prix. In suppor of the New Haven Grand Prix, the following streets will be closed from 4:00 PM September 14, 2018 to 12:00 AM September 15, 2018: Chapel Street (from Temple Street to High Street), High Street (from Chapel Street to Elm Street) and the Partial closures of Elm Street (from High Street to Temple Street).
