It’s a beautiful day to fly,” the pilot said over the intercom.

Over 100 passengers — including self-described aviation nerds” who had traveled from as far as Kansas and Denver for the ride, along with vacationers, reporters, and business boosters — packed together and clicked their seat belts. The Spirit of The Havens” taxied down the runway for its maiden two-hour-46-minute voyage from New Haven to Orlando. And a new era of local aviation was born.

Newly minted Dwight/Beaver Hills top cop Lt. Ryan Przybylski.

Newhallville, East Rock and Cedar Hill have a new neighborhood top cop — Lt. Dana Smith, who has stepped into the district manager role as Lt. Manmeet Colon moves over to Internal Affairs.

And a little further west in Dwight and Beaver Hills, Lt. Ryan Przybylski has risen to the role of district manager, replacing recently promoted Capt. John Healy.

EastCoastin 2021 mass gathering city claimed it had “canceled.”

The city’s industrial waterfront disappeared in a cloud of exhaust smoke and the sounds of revving engines and police sirens Saturday as thousands of motorcyclists from across the Northeast descended upon the Annex to participate in a controversial canceled” event.

By the time the sun had set, police had arrested the event’s organizer on charges of inciting a riot, and officers cleared the streets.
