As Bob Lamothe walked along the Mill River, he positioned his Canon camera towards the sky, prepared to capture birds in flight — and was reminded of shared migration patterns that help people and avians alike call back and forth between their homelands.

The community advisory board for WNHH, New Haven’s home for community radio, will meet via Zoom on Wednesday, April 19, at 7 p.m. to review the the station’s current services and programming goals as well as consider how the station can better meet the needs of our listeners.

Diane Brown swung open the door Monday morning to a long-awaited new, enhanced neighborhood library and community anchor at the corner of Dixwell Avenue and Foote Street, with lots more room, more books, and more to do.
Run for cover: Urban pioneers are returning to New Haven — from a space colony to which they originally fled from riots and flames and eviscerated property values. They’re bringing with them “plans” anew for the Model City.
Luckily for us, Tochi Onyebuchi has his eye on them. He has his eye on the “stackers” who never left, as well.
