Thanksgiving week can seem lonely — very little happening at Yale, most of the action happening in people’s households. But hey, there’s a Yale Rep opening, a gallery opening, an agrarian studies colloquium and lots and lots of music. Give thanks for that.

Monday, Nov. 23

Train Stop, F‑Stop
A photo exhibit of Views from the Metro North,” taken on train journeys by Joanna Stuart, is at New Haven’s Union Station, 50 Union Ave., through Dec. 21. The opening reception is today from 4 to 6 p.m. (203) 676‑5007.

Texas Exit

Who’ll Help Her?

Turner Classics

Throwing Up a Pop Party

Dean Falcone’s annual Vomitorium, a gathering of musicians who grew up in the area and have come home for Thanksgiving, occurs on Thanksgiving Eve this year. The cover-mangling pop-jammers this year include Jennifer D’Angora ( of Jenny Dee & The Deeliquents and Downbeat 5), Shellye Valauskas, Dave Schneider of The Zambonis), Brian Stevens of The Cavedogs, Elaine DiMasi, Josh Lattanzi (who’s played with The Candles and Norah Jones), Kyle Summer, Lys Guillorn, Paul Belbusti, Rich Dart (drummer for latter-day Monkees), David Sieser, Corrine Sieser, Kierstin Joy Pupkowski, Christina Maria, Bruce Crowder, Loralee Geil, Al Lotto, Caroline Schmidt, Lola Galla, Tom Hughes and others. Banana on the Spot

Peerless Premiere
The Yale Repertory Theatre is presenting the world premiere of the comedy Peerless by Jiehae Park, through Dec. 19 at 1120 Chapel St. It’s about twin sisters who scheme to get into an Ivy League school. (203) 432‑1234.

Dark Rain

The Spirit of Christmas Yet to Come
