Downtown Alderwoman and all-around goodwill ambassador Frances “Bitsie” Clark puts her money where her mouth is.
Since the Independent launched in 2005, Clark has been a loyal $10-a-month “friend” of the not-for-profit enterprise. Her tax-deductible donation keeps public interest journalism alive in New Haven.
