The New Haven-to-Lieutenant Governor’s Office pipeline keeps flowing, with two new appointments announced Wednesday.

One of the appointments: Brittany Founds was named director of external affairs and constituent services as Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz assembles her team for a second four-year term.

Bysiewicz also tapped New Haven’s Taijah Anderson as her new chief of staff. Anderson succeeds New Havener Adam Joseph, who has left the chief of staff post to become Gov. Ned Lamont’s new communications chief. Before becoming chief of staff, Anderson served as a senior adviser to Bysiewicz; before that, she worked as legislative liaison to the Board of Alders for New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker.

New Haven,” Bysiewicz reflected Wednesday, is a source of a huge amount of talent.”
